Batu 40, lempor.

Buah pulasan.

Mengikut sumber yang boleh dipercayai, pokok pulasan ini berusia kurang lebih 100 tahun.

Pokok rambutan gading, isinya lekang dan manis bersari.

Pokok rambai, tapi buah masih muda untuk dituai hasilnya.

Pokok langsat, dapatlah barang seguni dua.

Pokok ciku, mengikut penggemar tegar ciku, buah-buah ciku yang masih keras ini, boleh diperam sehingga isinya lembut, namun begitu harus di ingat getah ciku memang nombor satu!

Juara galah.

Jalan-jalan hujung minggu.

Hujung-hujung minggu begini, harusnya jalan-jalan cari makan sambil melawat tempat riadah, ke Berjaya Time Square Theme Park umpamanya. Hujan yang semakin rancak turun tidak sepatutnya menjadi alasan. Tapi kami tak ke BTS.

Cuaca yang kadang-kadang hujan , kadang-kadang mendung juga membantutkan usaha kami untuk berkunjung ke taman-taman permainan. Taman Metropolitan Kepong atau Taman di TTDI contohnya memang sesuai untuk kegiatan santai kami.

Kesudahannya kami ke Midvalley Megamall, beli buku di MPH, makan KFC dan singgah ke pameran MAPEX. Harga rumah dua tingkat semakin menjadi-jadi, kalau tak ada RM350K , jangan ceritalah.

Ada badut di sana, Ameera memang lebih berani kalau nak dibandingkan dengan Shamil. Masa Shamil baya Ameera dulu, kalau jumpa badut, takut sampai ketar-ketar badan.

Oh! Tersempak dengan Kak Ju dan anak-anak masa mula-mula sampai ke Midvalley tadi. Jalan-jalan cari makan jugak lah tu.

Its easy to blame a flawed system, especially when the tide is going against you.

But to be fair, you are not actually blameless in this scenario. Well, by right you should be well prepared for the big day.

That said, when it comes to language, if you have difficulties in mastering it first, the task at hand become a little bit more tricky.

So when the C's were English,Maths and Science. The root cause is pretty obvious.

No worries though, there is still a long way to go. At least we now know where to improve.

Secret recipe

Terjumpa dua cerita klasik hebat ini tatkala membuat carian rambang. Pasca zaman P.Ramlee, tak ternampak lagi filem tempatan yang mampu mengganggu gugat kedudukan kedua-dua filem ini.

30 tahun.Lama sangat dah.

Back when I was playing football for SRK Clifford, our good luck charm, to me, was rain. We never lost when it rains. Seriously.

In several occasion, when our game was not that good, those tiny drops of water/rain will raise our game. Strange as it may seem, we played better with the slippery ground. Not that we were bad on the dry surface, but we somehow adapt some what quickly compared to the next team.

There were two particular incident which I can vaguely recall, first when we were playing SRPM in the district group level, i am not sure we were that good at the time, but we score like nobody business, 12-2 or something like that. Man, the goal was pouring , and yes it was raining. The second game, was when we played in the district final,against SK Sayong,  we were the away team, and the opponent have the whole neighbourhood to cheer them up. We were booed and even harassed by the aggressive supporters. I swear something hit me on the head while I was taking the throw in. Man, talk about fanaticism, and this is only a Primary level football tournament.

We were basically on the receiving end, majority of the time. But faith somehow intervene, and you know what, half way through the game, it rained. The rest as they say is history, we won by 2 goal to nil.

Somehow luck was on our side.

And now, it has been raining for weeks, landslide,flash flood, you name it. I am hopeful there is a silver lining somewhere along this wettest condition to date.

Judging by the level of water in Klang River , it is a matter of time before Kuala Lumpur became the city of mud all over again.

Iman Readers: Talent Contest

Just came back from Iman Readers function.

Its a Graduation/prize giving ceremony/talent contest activity hosted at Dewan Serbaguna Taman Melewar.

It's a pretty interesting affair albeit one could say quite a long one but hey! I have no complain. To me, the whole activity serve it main purpose , which basically a grand finale to a fine school calendar. So, i was not too bothered about the time, it's the kids day naturally, they deserve it.

in brief:

1. Ain top the Cory cat class and #1 in storytelling (Bahasa Melayu)
2. Shamil was #2 but in the English Storytelling contest he aced it.
3. Mirul was not happy because winner of the Nasyid category will only get their prizes next Monday, hence no opportunity to graze the grand stage for the prize giving ceremony.
4. Kak Jah gave her testimonial during the parent chit chat segment, I suggested to start with a Pantun, hehe, but to no avail of course. Maybe in the next testimonial.
5. Cikgu Nita and Cikgu Lili will no longer be with Iman Readers next year. Thanks Cikgu! And good luck with your future endeavor.
