Out

blog1 001

She'd checked out last Saturday after spending 6 days, 5 nights in the hospital. a tad too long for her condition maybe, but i am no doctor to judge that, so i am pretty okay with the whole thing.

The most difficult part throughout the whole stay, i think, was the physio therapy session. You cannot do anything lah to help her except maybe be there for the emotional support, which i believe a total disaster on my part .

The staff used a small tubing, barely the diameter of your ordinary USB cable, and inserted it to the nose and mouth to suck the phlegm out from her throat. On one occasion, i almost throw up watching her being treated. but me being a sporting dad, i just stood there, holding my ground, and gave my moral support with eyes firmly closed.

It sure are something that need to get used to.

But after all the excruciating session, i notice there is a significant improvement on her part. Wheezing is at minimal or non existence now. So far so good.

Tomorrow will be the follow up session with the doctor, so we see how it goes la ye.
